Phyllis Chesler
Disinvited: Battling Antisemitism on the Frontlines

 video release: June 16, 2023

Phyllis Chesler is an American writer, psychotherapist, and professor emerita of psychology and women's studies at the College of Staten Island (CUNY). She is a renowned second-wave feminist and the prolific author of 20 books, including Women and Madness (1972), With Child: A Diary of Motherhood (1979), The New Antisemitism (2003), An American Bride in Kabul: A Memoir (2013), Islamic Gender Apartheid: Exposing a Veiled War Against Women (2017), and A Politically Incorrect Feminist (2018).

Since 9/11, Dr. Chesler's work has focused on the rights of women, dissidents, and gay people in the Islamic world; on antisemitism and the demonization of Israel; the psychology of terrorism; the nature of propaganda; and honour-related violence.

She will speak to us on the state of antisemitism in the United States and her own experience fighting on the frontlines for so many decades.

The lecture will be delivered by video.
